Issues with Santa

Last night at the annual BluegrassNet Christmas Party, Santa made an appearance for all the kiddos. Someone was not to happy about that. He did recover later to enjoy his present.

Eating with a spoon

The last few days have been interesting. We have started feeding you rice cereal…with a spoon. You are a total mess but it is great. Tonight…day three of soon…you a started lunging towards the spoon or cereal. You were actually eating more than you were spitting out. After about 15 minutes, you threw in the towel. After that point, we finished up with a few ounces of formula.

You fell asleep in your mothers arms and even slept thru her attempt to bur you. 4 months old and things are changing daily.

Joseph at 4 months

I know it has been a while since we’ve posted anything about the little man. It honestly has been a lot of fun and a lot of work. The other day we had Joseph photographed by a professional. The shots below were taken in Cherokee Park on a pleasant Saturday morning. Joseph lasted about an hour and 3 outfit changes before he was done with the whole thing.

If you would like any prints from anything you see here, let me know, I have all the full size images and can print 4×6 to 8.5 x 11 in. prints.

Happy Easter

Well Joseph, you made it thru your first Easter. This morning we went to the sunrise service at church. 7am came real early. A funny thing happened, well for us anyways, during the Pastor’s sermon, you decided to start ‘grunting’ and we all know what that means (you will just have to use your imagination). It was nice and quite in there and i think you even threw the Pastor off a bit.

After the service, we all went to Easter breakfast at the church. You slept as we ate eggs and ham. It was pretty tasty. Everyone had to come over and stare at the baby. We finished up breakfast just in time to get you home and change your outfit so that we could go to Grandpa’s for lunch.

We had a wonderful feast of ham and trimmings, mommy and daddy got a small break as everyone wanted to play with you. Uncle Greg, Aunt Angie and Grandpa were present. It was a fun afternoon.

We look forward to next year when you will hopefully be running around looking for easter egg’s.
